The new Inexchange is ready for Europe

Written by Inexchange | Oct 1, 2026, 10:00:00 AM

The path forward as one unified company was announced back in June. Four months on, the newly merged Inexchange is here. As of 1 October 2026, five Nordic e-invoicing companies have become one.

"It is time to start a new era, and I strongly believe that this is going to be a fantastic journey. It already is," says Allan Freiheit, Managing Director of the new Inexchange.

The companies now joining forces come from three Nordic countries: Inexchange in Sweden, Maventa and OWS in Finland, and mySupply and efacto in Denmark. Each keeps its local presence, but together they now form one company, with a single ambition: to become a leading player in the European market and making e-invoicing effortless for all businesses.
"We see tremendous opportunities. Europe's e-invoicing market is entering a defining period. National mandates are accelerating now and in the years ahead, and the EU's ViDA directive will make structured e-invoicing and digital reporting mandatory for cross-border B2B trade. Businesses across the continent need a partner who can keep them compliant without slowing them down. That is exactly what we offer," says Allan Freiheit.

More favors as a customer

For customers and partners, it is business as usual. Across all five companies, there are no immediate changes to the services, the contracts or the people customers work with today. The only real change for the customers and partners, is that they now get access to even more expertise and technology in the new Inexchange.

The merger has been a major undertaking. If the months of preparation were to be summed up in two words, they would be thoroughness and determination. Allan Freiheit comments on this:
"We have spent the past months building something new together, and what we have achieved is impressive. We have gone from several separate organisations to one company with a shared direction. That takes courage, patience and a willingness to work with one another in a new way, and everyone has shown that spirit throughout the process."

Become a leader in Europe

Ola Widegren, Chief Product & Market Officer, adds that the new Inexchange is just as well prepared on the technical side.
"All the companies start from strong products, so we have a high baseline to build on. By bringing parts of our product offering together, we can combine our expertise, develop our portfolio further and take a leading position in a fast-changing industry."
He continues:
"We place great emphasis on compliance, and on giving customers support that covers the regional requirements and regulations right across our continent. Our aim is to deliver the best and most comprehensive solution for the major European markets and the Nordics."
